Like many people this holiday, I scored a lovely new iPhone 3GS for Christmas. Thank you Santa Bianca, aka Mom. For the past two months I have been using the Tokina 12-24mm lens on just about every shoot I did, at least one per shoot. Whether I was shooting a model or shooting my car< i tried it out to see how it would handle against my everyday type photography. I actually sat on the lens for over a year, never firing it once. This Cannon PowerShot is an older model. But still a decent one. I got my hands on one from the Nevada Film Office, or NFO. An old roommate of mine was the location scout for the NFO and used this camera to take location pictures for producers and directors for upcoming Las Vegas movies. I finally got a chance to test out the Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS. Color of choice…pink! I bout this camera for my girlfriend for her birthday last year. The color unfortunately was a huge factor. Unlike myself, my girlfriend is more interested in the color of the camera then its capability. When I asked her what she was looking for in a camera all she said is “pink”. Read the full story
